**Ratio**– The ratio of two a & b is a/b & is denoted a:b where a & b are called the terms of the ratio.; the ist term a is called antecedent & the second term b is called consequence. the ratio of two quantities is just a number & has no unit at all the comparisons are made only between the same kind of quantity.
