Basic Input Output System – starts the computer (booting).

Uniform Resource Locator – address of a web page.

HTTP / HTTPS

HyperText Transfer Protocol; HTTPS is the secure (encrypted) version.

DNS

Domain Name System – converts domain names into IP addresses.
