Letter positions, opposite letters and mnemonics for coding-decoding.

E = 5, J = 10, O = 15, T = 20, Y = 25.

Reverse position of a letter

Reverse position = 27 − forward position.

Opposite letter rule

Opposite letters add up to 27 (A–Z, B–Y, C–X …).

Opposite of G

T (7 + 20 = 27).

Opposite of I

R (9 + 18 = 27) – hook: 'IR = Indian Railways'.

Letters at multiples of 3

C F I L O R U X (3, 6, 9 … 24).

Positions of vowels

A = 1, E = 5, I = 9, O = 15, U = 21.

Middle letters of the alphabet

M (13) and N (14).
